Three P’s of Worship

Psalms 34 was written by David when he was running from Abemlich. David acted crazy before the king so that he will be set free. We first need to realize that every worship is not a true worship. We should not have to be led into worship, it should be a part of us. It should be freely given to the Almighty God who has done wondrous things for us.
Worship is PERSONAL. It is worship to God out of our experiences with God. We need to worship Him out of the depths of our soul. It is not forced, but it is of our doing.
Worship is PURPOSEFUL. It should be displayed in my conversation and behavior. I cannot look at my circumstances, but I need to look to God and worship Him through the storm. We need to give honor where honor is due – to God. We show our love towards Him when we worship him.
Worship is to a PERSON – GOD. In the old testament you see God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit functioning as one body. It is denoted by LORD. But in the new testament you see the operating separately, but together. One does not supersede the other. God the father creates the plan. God the Son implements the plan. God the Holy Spirit administers the plan.
We need to make our worship PERSONAL, PURPOSEFUL, and about a PERSON – GOD
